Floods in Faure during June 2023

It was heart breaking to hear about everyone who has suffered and lost almost everything in the flood that took place in June, we are truly grateful to the community who immediately jumped in and took our hands. Diocese of False Bay contacted us and pleaded with us to assist. We sent out a plea to help us assist about 48 families and the children of St Paul’s Primary School as the children were stuck in the classrooms, who had to be rescued with small boats. A huge thank you to “My Emporium” who has donated so much clothing, and to the Helderberg community who donated clothes, shoes, blankets, toiletries. With the help that they received, they have shared with the community in Kramat, Sandvlei
