Learning, Reading and Building Lasting Bonds

During the June to August term, our Learning and Reading Club continued to be a place where children could learn, grow and feel supported. The children thoroughly enjoy their sessions with volunteers Vicki te Water, Liezle Malcolm, Tauheera Williams and Lucatia Mdungwana, who bring enthusiasm, care and creativity to every lesson and activity. Over the term, special bonds have continued to grow between the children and volunteers, creating an environment where the children feel comfortable, encouraged and excited to participate. It is wonderful to see how much the children look forward to each session, knowing they will have an opportunity to learn, have fun and spend time with people who genuinely care about them.
