Making a Bigger Difference in Lwandle

Anna Mntwana, our Assistant Needlework Mentor, has continued to show that leadership extends far beyond the classroom. In February 2026, she took the initiative to begin educating pet owners in Lwandle on how to properly care for their animals, focusing on responsible feeding, shelter, and overall wellbeing. Her approach has not only been practical but empowering, equipping community members with knowledge that will have a lasting impact. Alongside this educational effort, Anna has provided food to over 35 dogs to date, and one dog has received a kennel, offering much-needed protection and comfort. Through both guidance and hands-on support, she is helping to create meaningful and sustainable change in her community. This is how we make a bigger difference
