Standing in Support After the Nomzamo Fire

In December 2025, tragedy struck the community of Nomzamo when a devastating fire broke out, leaving more than 110 families with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Homes, belongings and precious memories were lost within moments, leaving many families facing an uncertain and heartbreaking situation. During this difficult time, various Non-Profit Organisations stepped in to offer assistance in their own ways. Three of our dedicated Community Representatives, Gloria Hungana, Princess Bolo, Lucatia Mdungwana and Anastacia Molaoa, responded with compassion and urgency, assisting twenty families with groceries, household essentials, clothing, shoes and toiletries. While these items could not replace what had been lost, they provided much-needed relief and comfort. The families expressed deep gratitude for the support they received, sharing that even these small provisions gave them renewed hope and encouragement as they began the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives.
