Determined for the Finish Line

In April 2025, Mziwamadoda Hungana, husband of Community Representative Gloria Hungana, completed his 10th Two Oceans Marathon—carrying with him a remarkable story of resilience. At the 23km mark, his shoes began to cause discomfort. By 40km, they had torn completely. Determined to finish, Mziwamadoda ran the final 16km barefoot.

His unwavering commitment inspired us all. As he now trains for his fifth Comrades Marathon, we were honoured to support him with a brand-new pair of running shoes.
