Zurich’s Story: A Heart of Sacrifice, a Step Toward His Dream

Zurich, a talented young man with a bright future, has proudly been selected twice to represent WP Rugby. His passion and commitment to the sport are undeniable. But in May 2025, he faced a tough challenge when his rugby boots tore—threatening to sideline his journey.

Encouraged by his coach, Zurich began raising the R700 needed for a new pair, with the promise of a possible discount. Determined to stay on track, he worked hard to gather the money. But just as he reached his goal, life threw him a painful curve—his mother fell seriously ill, and Zurich chose to put her first, using every cent to buy her medication.

When Halli Trust heard his story, we knew we had to help.

It was our joy to bless Zurich with a brand-new pair of rugby boots. His smile said it all—full of hope, gratitude, and renewed determination to chase his rugby dream.
