Restoring Dignity and Hope

In April 2025, Halli Trust recently stepped in to support a young woman from Khayelitsha who had been struggling without an ID or birth certificate. Orphaned at a young age and left without proper documentation, she was unable to finish school or find work.

After sharing her story in a Facebook community group, Princess Bolo, our Community Representative, took her in and began helping her navigate the system. With support from Councillor Mr. Diniso and Home Affairs in Khayelitsha, her application for an identity document was approved.

Halli Trust provided clothing and shoes, helping restore her dignity as she starts a new chapter in life.
